Support for Investigations of Serious Accidents and On-site Inspections
n the event of serious accidents, provide support for nationwide accident investigations through our Headquarters and Accident Investigation Centers in Busan and Mokpo
Support on-site inspections by Safety Supervisors to inspect compliance with relevant regulations
Support for Legal Framework Improvement and Professional Training
Support the improvement of relevant systems including the Act on the Safe Operations of Fishing Vessels and subordinate laws and regulations
Develop three-step occupational training programs for Safety Supervisors and conduct seminars among industry, academia, research institutes, and government organizations
Establishment and Operation of an Integrated Information System for the Prevention of Fishers’ Serious Accidents
Establish and operate an integrated information system to provide convenient services for fishing sites, deliver safety information to the public, and respond to fishers’ serious accidents

Develop safety and health manuals for fishers
Produce and distribute safety and health signs to be posted in hazardous facilities and areas on fishing vessels
Promotion of Safety Culture through YouTube Videos and Posters
Bridge the gap between regulations and on-site practices by producing and distributing content such as videos and posters and organizing on-site meetings to raise awareness of safe operations of fishing vessel

Support the development and distribution of smart safety and health equipment such as smart watches and life jackets (IoT devices) tailored to on-site needs
