Integrated Technical Cooperation Programme (ITCP)

IMO ITCP, with the sole purpose of assisting member states in building up their human and institutional capacities for uniform and effective compliance with IMO’s regulatory framework, is crucial for safer and more secure shipping, enhanced environmental protection and facilitation of international maritime traffic.

KOMSA is working together with IMO to foster capacity building of member states by putting a special attention to the particular needs of Africa, Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs)

Official Development Assistance (ODA)

As government aid designed to promote the economic development and welfare of developing countries, ODA can be provided bilaterally, from donor to recipient, or channeled through a multilateral development agency.

As a catalytic actor in global maritime sector, KOMSA coordinates closely with other Korean government agencies to ensure that our expertise, capabilities and resources are best leveraged to assist our companions with their development journeys.
