Background
The systematic and integrated management of maritime big data is required in order to reduce and prevent the maritime accidents.
Following needs are required for maritime safety :
Customized results for various service users
Evidence-based decision making in preventive actions and safety diagnosis
Implementation of big data platform
Integration of the dispersed big data managed by various organizations
Implementation of the big data platform through data quality management
Data-driven maritime safety risk analysis and assessment
Provision of maritime safety information and services
